SEX was written by Madonna with photographs by Steven Meisel and Fabien Baron and was released to accompany her studio album Erotica in October 1992.
SEX sold 150,000 copies on the day of its release in the USA alone. Three days later all 1.5 million copies of the first edition were sold out worldwide.
